Connect Kapus over MCP
Kapus runs a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP). Point any MCP client at it and every Kapus capability shows up as a tool — three steps:
Your app or agent calls a Kapus capability; it runs on your own provider key.
https://kapus.dev/api/mcpDrop this into your client's MCP config — Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, or any agent runtime.
Claude Desktop / Cursor — claude_desktop_config.json
{
"mcpServers": {
"kapus": { "url": "https://kapus.dev/api/mcp" }
}
}Claude Code (CLI)
claude mcp add --transport http kapus https://kapus.dev/api/mcp
Restart the client and the Kapus tools below appear. Call them like any other MCP tool — no extra setup.
brandcheckCheck a brand name across domains, US + Korea trademarks, and Google SEO difficulty — all at once. No API key required.
publish_wordpressPublish a post to your WordPress site via the REST API — your site + Application Password, no markup.
style_portraitRecreate an uploaded photo in a chosen style: keeps the person's face/identity, applies the style/lighting/mood of a reference look. Runs on YOUR image-capable API key — Google Gemini or OpenAI, auto-detected from the key (passed per call, never stored). Returns a data-URL image.
defineLook up an English word's definition. A keyless demo of a published external-API tool — one manifest, auto-rendered as GUI + MCP + REST.
Keyless beta — no Kapus key needed yet. Capabilities that need a provider key will take it as a tool input.
Local image generation (BYOK)
Generate images in your editor or agent with YOUR key — Gemini Nano Banana or OpenAI gpt-image-1. Runs as a local MCP server on your key.
npx @kapus/kapush key set gemini YOUR_KEY
claude mcp add kapus-image -- npx -y @kapus/mcp
No image key set → the tool tells you so and does nothing. Renders inline in Claude Desktop / IDE; a terminal opens the saved file.
